Tokenization, as it pertains to real estate, is the process of creating a virtual token that would represent ownership of a type of real estate asset. This is similar to the recent digital asset craze, non-fungible tokens (“NFTs”), except a real estate token would be tied to the value of a physical asset. With the rise of virtual tokens, here are some common questions asked about their use.

An initial coin offering (ICO) is the cryptocurrency industry’s equivalent to an initial public offering (IPO). A company looking to raise money to create a new coin, app, or service launches an ICO as a way to raise funds.
Interested investors can buy into the offering and receive a new cryptocurrency token issued by the company. This token may have some utility in using the product or service the company is offering, or it may just represent a stake in the company or project.
For example, a property owner can tokenize a property that is leased to a retail chain. In order to be considered as an STO, a company needs all the necessary permits in place before it can continue its activities (building inspections, financial requirements, and ownership rights).
In the next step, security tokens are released that correspond to ownership of a section of the premises. For example, 1 security token may equate to 1 square meter of real estate. Investors purchasing security tokens become the owners of a section of the premises.
Eventually, token owners will receive a share of the future rental profits derived from the property. Besides being used as a property right, tokens can also be used as currency and as a loyalty program. For example, consider a development company that builds modern huts in mountain ranges. They can monetize tokens such that people can live in these huts beyond the designated property range and can also purchase additional services or infrastructure, like ski slopes.

There are two main reasons for not being able to confirm payment.
1. the payment has not been reflected in our Bitforex receiving account.
2. the address from which the payment was made is different from the sending address you input in the purchase application.
In any case, please send the following information from the email address you input in your application:
・Transaction id (hash) in the body of email
・Screenshot of Transaction id (hash) displayed on your wallet (not on eatherscan/bitcoin explorer)
The information in eatherscan/bitcoin explorer is available to anyone and is not specific to the purchaser. Therefore, we need to check the transaction id displayed on the purchaser’s wallet (e.g., order history).
The following two are also counted as evidence;
1. Screenshot of the transaction with the amount, currency, from-address, to-address and status information.
2. Ask the support of your wallet for the transaction id of your transaction and forward the whole communication with the support person to info@timecoinprotocol.com.
We will total the payments based on the applications made by the same email address throughout the both rounds. If your total purchased SWI is short of the amount on the list, you can add up by purchasing again.
